This re-casting makes no sense:
- Durance is not the right age for the part
- Looks nothing like Laura
- can't act

Everything you said is damn true--hopefully the show will realize their mistake and fire Durance just as quickly as she was hired.

Technically ED is two years OLDER than Laura Bernanti (39 vs 37) but really, age is the least of the problems with that casting choice.

The worst thing is that it means ED could be around as long as the series is on air. Grrr.
