Christmas Eve Randomness--WOO HOO!!

First, I hope everyone who celebrates is having a lovely Christmas Eve, and if you don’t, I hope you are having a lovely Tuesday :)

And second, I was having some weird, trippy random Christmas inspired thoughts, and I thought to myself, if you could live and/or visit any fictitious land, which ones would it be?  Would you choose Narnia so you could bond with Aslan or Middle Earth so you could hang out with Hobbits or would you want to live in Sunnydale and hang with Buffy and the Scooby gang?


Whoville:  I love those whimsical animal like creatures who are so filled with joy and the Christmas spirit, and how cool are their pumpkin-esque homes, their Christmas dinner of roast beast and I’m dying to try some Who Hash.

The Island of Misfit Toys:  Am I the only one who thinks King Moonracer would be awesome to be friends with?  And who doesn’t love a Charlie in the Box?

Munchkinland:  as awesome as the Emerald City is, I think Munchkinland would be a much more fun place to live.  And the Lolly-pop Guild are beyond badass.

Neptune, Ca:  I think it would be rather cool to hang out in a town where Veronica Mars solves crime 24/7 and still manages to look super-cute.

Highbury:  I had a hard time choosing my favorite of the Jane Austen locations, but I’d think I’d want to visit Emma and Mr. Knightley’s home town because I think Emma would be a lot of fun to talk to, especially when she was trying to “fix” things.

What fictitious land would you want to visit?

I don't know if you've ever seen the 80s cartoon, 'Kid Video,' but I always wanted to be dragged into that cartoon world back then. But it's way too 80s for me now. It was a short lived cartoon, but the idea stayed with me. I totally thought that, if I stared at a drawing long enough, I would get pulled in like in "Take On Me."

Anyway, that was then. For now... The alternate universe where the muppets are real. I always think my life would be complete if I could sing with a muppet, but the idea of seeing that muppet skin hanging over a chair while the puppeteer is on break makes me die inside. But I still want to be with them! So I guess I just want to live in Muppet Earth.

I agree that being an actual muppet would be rather cool but you'd want to be the actual muppet and not a puppet :)

I don't want to be one. Just hang with them in some alt world where they aren't puppets. :)
