Christmas Has Arrived!

I hope everyone who celebrates has a very Merry Christmas and if you don't, I hope your Wednesday is peaceful :)

My mom and I went to Midnight Mass which is always very beautiful but I had a weird sudden thought:  I've seen Manger scenes were the Baby Jesus isn't wrapped in swaddling clothes and my first thought is always, "Someone needs to cover that kid up or he'll catch a cold."     Bizarre I know :)

I also got to watch my two Christmas classics, Its a Wonderful Life (I cry like a baby every time George realizes that he doesn't care what happens to him, he just wanted his family back) and A Christmas Carol (so gorgeously emotional the minute Scooge realizes that he's treating his nephew as cruelly as his dad treated him)--two wonderful movies that always get me in the Christmas spirit.

How funny about the baby - good point, although having a summer Christmas, I must admit it had never occurred to me! ;-)

There's definitely something to having different seasons at different times, and no, you're not too crazy at all! ;-)
