The Bletchley Circle

So, Easter dinner has come and gone, the clean up has occurred and I'm tired--WOO HOO!  And yes, both uncles came but they look horribly unhealthy and God love them, but they barely interact with each other.  There are only three brothers left and they should be bonded--the fact that they aren't even remotely friendly is beyond pathetic.

Now, I need to ask if anyone else watches The Bletchley Circle?  The mysteries are clever and I like the deep friendship amongst the four women.  Very nice :)

I loved the show. The mystery, the dynamic between the characters, the premis, the writing, the acting. It was all very well done!

Alright, another fan! I love the glimpses into what life was like in post-war Europe and how difficult it would be for these women to have to go back to just their regular lives after being code breakers.

That they were such exemplary women, who were then expected to tow the line as 'silly wives', and not allowed to be intelligent or even useful... it's just brilliant, and exemplifies how the world began to change. I would love to see more of it!
