This is for the fabulous phillydragonldy :I know you like musicals. So using only songs from musicals, pick a theme song for Clark, Lex, Lana, Chloe, and Shelby.

Clark’s theme:  “Don’t Be the Bunny”  from Urinetown the Musical
Lex’s theme:  “As Good As You”  from Jane Eyre the Musical
Lana’s theme:  “Pity the Child”  from Chess
Chloe’s theme:  “The Fire Within Me”  from Little Women the Musical
Shelby’s theme:  “The Worst Pies in London”  from Sweeney Todd:  The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Lex's was totally perfect!
Not so sure about Lana's theme. I'd probably argue for "The Simple joys of Maidenhood" from Camelot. ;)
Chloe's was perfect too. She is very much a Jo sort of character -- she's even a writer!
Oh no! Poor Shelby is in a pie!! *grabs Shelby and runs away at Clark speed*

Re: Lana's song, I could also have gone with "I enjoy being a girl" from Flower Drum Song :)

And let me assure that Shelby wasn't going to be put in one of Mrs. Lovett's pies, but rather even a hungry dog would have thought the pies were the worst in London. I would never put a poor doggie in a meat pie :):)
