What the heck happened to Spring??!!
This is an awesome news story about the subtle sexism many women face in dealing with customers--the truth is coming out, my friends :)
This will be a bit of a venting post because I’m annoyed with the damn weather—it’s back to being frigid temperatures, we had snow yesterday and more will be coming on Tuesday in the form of a Nor’easter—UUGHH!!
I need to talk about some Catholic insanity that’s driving me up a wall. St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday this year, but it’s a Friday in Lent, so that means we’re supposed to abstain from meat. Well, the Archbishop in charge of the Philadelphia diocese has given us a dispensation which means we can eat corn beef and cabbage on March 17th. So, glad that’s been taken care—WTF??!! Honestly, I think Catholics have more to worry about then whether or not you can eat meat on a Friday in Lent.
