New Year's Eve!!
Dec. 31st, 2017 09:53 amFor the past week, we've been enduring frigidly arctic temperatures, I’m talking the average temp is 23 degrees Fahrenheit—tomorrow it will be 18 degrees—and we will continued to have this cold into the end of this week.
So my wish for 2018 is to have normal temperatures for the correct time of year—no more of this arctic air, we’re supposed to have temps in the late 20’s and 30’s. Come on thermometer, get past the freezing mark!
What the heck happened to Spring??!!
Mar. 11th, 2017 09:17 amThis is an awesome news story about the subtle sexism many women face in dealing with customers--the truth is coming out, my friends :)
This will be a bit of a venting post ( because it needs to be said :( )

So it's 8:30am here in Souteastern PA (suburbs of Philadelphia) and it's snowing--the big flakes, heavy wet snow which is the hardest to shovel. My street hasn't been plowed yet, but guess what? I'm such a badass employee, I walked to work--WOO HOO!! It took me about ten minutes, which wasn't bad at all and the snow should be ending here around 11am, so my walk home should be a piece of cake :):)
Of course, then I have to shovel--UUUGGGHHH!!!!

Time for some Random Randomness--WOO HOO!!
Feb. 8th, 2017 11:52 amToday is going to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit which is insanely warm for February in the Northeast, but tonight the temperature is going to drop about thirty degrees and we’ll getting accumulating snow tomorrow—maybe 3 to 6 inches. How bizarre is that?

Springtime in January?
Jan. 12th, 2017 02:14 pmOkay, I need to talk about the weather for a moment. Please remember that all of the temps I’m talking about will be in Fahrenheit--so over the weekend, we had temps in the 20’s and in the evenings, the teens but today, it’s in the 60’s. WTF??!!! Not that I’m complaining, especially after the massively cold weather we just had, but springtime temperatures in January is just crazypants time :)
It is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit which is awesomely warm for February, the snow is melting and Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow, so we are in for an early spring—YEAH!!

Snow and US Nationals :):)
Jan. 23rd, 2016 06:17 pmWell it's now about 6pm EST and while it's still snowing, I still have power, so I'm doing well :):) And while I love that I'm warm and dry, what I'm really loving the most is watching my US Ice Skating Nationals and of course, I have some gloating to do :):)

A Snow update!
Jan. 23rd, 2016 10:03 amAlright it is now 10am EST, the snow is falling, the wind is blowing and we are smack dab in the middle of the Nor'easter and I am thrilled that we have power/heat/internet--YEAH!! And I hope the power continues to stay on because today is the US Ice Skating Nationals--a double WOO HOO!! :):)
Please keep all of us in the path of this snowstorm in your thoughts and prayers.

Oh man, SNOW!!
Jan. 21st, 2016 01:48 pmAnd here I was, hoping against hope that we could go a winter season without any god-forsaken snow, but we're getting hit with a storm Friday night, into Saturday night--DAMN!!! Some weather people are saying up to 12 inches--pray with me that it's less and that more importantly, we don't lose power. :):)
I remember last year being so horribly cold with below zero temperatures but this year has been rather awesome--December was warmer then normal and thus far January's temps have been relatively mild. I hope this trend continues :):)

Now for something truly random :):)
Feb. 17th, 2015 01:16 pmMan, but some random weather weirdness has occurred today and I must share:
( Snow and cold weather--YUCK! )
Now onto happier things:
How lovely and romantic that Benedict Cumberbatch got married on Valentine’s Day?! I also love that some of the invited guests were some of my favorite costars of his like, Keira Knightley and Martin Freeman and Tom Hiddleston was the best man—I love it!.

Holy crap, but watcing the news in preparation for the big snow storm coming is even worse then actually dealing with the snow. Yes, we know snow is coming to the Northeast, but I think we are all going to live through it. Where I live--Bucks County PA, suburbs of Philadelphia--we should get up to six inches of snow. I kust hope we don't lose power--freezing cold weather and no power? YIKES!. I feel horrendous for the people who live in South Jersey, NYC, and New England--you just have to batten down the hatches, hunker down and ride out the storm.
