A Comcast DVR question

I have a question for any Comcast customers who have a DVR:  do you leave your box on all the time or do you turn it off when you turn off the T.V?

ETA:  It seems that the general consensus shuts off their TV and DVR--WOO HOO, good to know gang :)

When I had Comcast I left the DVR on all the time.

Okay, maybe I'll start doing that instead of turning off the box all the time--thanks for the info :)

Us, too.But if you turn it off, i think ti still turns itself on if you have a scheduled recording.

This is good to know--I was afraid that if I turned the DVR off and I had selected a show to get recorded it wouldn't work, but that appears to not be the case. Thanks, you are the awesomeest :):)

I turn it off, only b/c my remote is set up to turn off both the DVR and the TV at the same time. Newbatgirl's right, it turns itself back on if you've scheduled a recording.

This is extremely helpful--this whole DVR business has me slightly freaking out! :):)

I turn it off -- it still clicks on when its set to record.

Okay, so it seems that turning off the DVR is the wisest option--thanks for the info!
