SHARK WEEK!

So it's the first week of August and of course I'm glued to the Discovery channel's Shark Week, watching avidly and freaking out every time they talk to yet  another shark attack survivor.  I swear, the swimmer/surfers in Australia and South Africa have a pretty laid back attitude when it comes to sharing the ocean with predators that are at least six to ten feet larger than they are.

I want to see

the Megalodon show!

Sigh. Over at our house, I am acutely aware that it's Shark Week. Seamus is an armchair shark biologist, and dreams of one day going to Australia to swim with them. I tell him he's welcome to swim with whatever dangerous creatures he wants right after I've died, and not one second before. So as a compromise, I'm sort of obligated to watch a lot of shark documentaries with him. No Masterpiece Theatre for me this week- it's all sharks, all the time. lol

Oh yes, everyone who watches Shark Week becomes a shark expert--I myself am very quick to point out the difference between a tiger shark and a hammerhead. *nods informatively* :):)
