Random Post of Randomness

First, thanks for everyone who left such lovely compliments on my meme yesterday--I shall save it in my memories and reread it when I need a morale boost.

And second, I love doing these random post of randomness where I vent about life, my own problems or my favorite TV shows.  Well guess what?  This one's going to be a veritable bouillabaisse of everything I'm annoyed at right now:

1.  My boss John has taken to whining that my Assistant Manager Bob is contravening everything he tells the drivers.  It's not contravening when Bob's telling them the correct information, jackass.  This isn't the military where your orders aren't questioned. What a moron.

2.  On Supernatural, I don't care about Bobby Singer--never have, never will--and I'd much rather see Castiel helping the boys and earning their trust back but that didn't happen.  I truly hope this is the final season--I love the show but I think it's time for it to end.

3.  On Hawaii Five-0, I like that the show and the network are respecting Alex O'Loughlin's privacy regarding his personal issues and that he hasn't been featured on any of the tabloid shows or magazines.  I like that everyone on the show is in his corner and wanting him to be well again.

4.  I saw The Hunger Games and I thoroughly enjoyed the film but I did not like the ending of the trilogy.  I think the author went a little overboard in Mockingjay and got a little too blood-thirsty when she started killing off characters and I do not like who Katniss ended up with.

5.  I'm supposed to be on a diet, but I can't stop eating Easter Candy!

I think Katniss should have ended up with somebody different as well :)

As for SPN, personally I prefer Bobby to Cas, but I think their real problem was that an angel is too powerful - with him as an ally, it makes certain things too easy, if you see what I mean, and they couldn't figure out what to do with that.

I do see your point about Cas' being super-powered and that it doesn't make for compelling drama to have things be too easy for Sam and Dean, but Bobby's whole "Gruff exterior to hide his marshmallow heart" routine got old extremely fast.

And I love how circumspect where being about spoilers for The Hunger Games trilogy :):)

I think SPN should have ended last year, no matter how much I like it. Although, to be honest, I think this season has been far and away better than last.

Oh I still enjoy watching SPN as well, but I think it's time for the show to end and for Dean and Sam to finally have some peace from demons. :)

Alas, I can't watch SPN anymore simply because I can't stand to see mutton-chops on Jared's face. Seamus and I tried to watch a recent episode and our eyes hurt from the facial hair. Also, we stopped watching in season 4, so we have no idea what's going on.

"My boss John has taken to whining that my Assistant Manager Bob is contravening everything he tells the drivers."

Oh. My. Stars. I think I'm on to something. I have this theory that in 80% of all workplaces, the senior boss is always named John, and the assistant boss is always named Bob. Seriously, I nearly always had at least one supervisor named John or Bob in all the jobs I've ever held. It was eerie.

Jared is sporting some interesting facial hair isn't he? :)
