I was at my niece's confirmation today and it was a truly lovely day:  beautifully sunny and not too hot.  I love reading the different names the kids took and it's rather cool that so many of the old fashioned names are still in vogue.

The one thing I will always appreciate about H50 is their respect and admiration for the military.  The scenes of Steve and Danny visiting the veterans' hospital and seeing the horrifying injuries these brave men and women are enduring is deeply humbling.  Also, I think it's interesting that Catherine's not being in the final dinner scene didn't take away anything from the episode--her presence or lack there of neither makes or breaks an episode and I think that's the crux of why Borth was let go.  Her Catherine never quite gelled with the original cast.

Now onto Hannibal, how much do I love that Dr. Lecter is trying to cultivate his own little band of murderers?  I like that Margot, despite her deep anger and hatred for her violent brother Mason, realizes that an ethical medical professional would not be encouraging her to continue trying to kill someone.  Good for her for seeking Will out to compare notes and I hope Will knows that he can lean on Margot and that she's someone who understands just how "wrong" Dr. Lecter is.

I like that Will went to see Jeremy Davies' Peter again but I can't tell where he's being held?  Was it a prison hospital?  ETA:  Peter was being evaluated at a hospital and receiving the care he needed.

And lastly, do not mess with Will's dogs.  I hope Buster's okay.
