An Accused Heretic

A very strange vacation indeed.  I liked what I saw of Seattle and Portland--I thought Oregon was wonderfully woodsy and just beautiful--but I kind of hated San Francisco but I think a lot of that had to do with the hordes of crowds there for Fleet Week and the Blue Angels shows.  I didn't get to do either of the things I wanted to--the cable cars were shut down because of the air show, and Chinatown was over-run with crowds.  I was damn disappointed.

But now I'm back in the real world--I have to go back to work tomorrow.  WOO HOO!!!  :)

I’ve been out of sorts these last couple of weeks, but I think I’m finally getting out of the rut.  For one, we’ve finally sorted out our Fall vacation—we are going to visit parts of the Pacific Northwest--WOO HOO!!

I also need to get back into writing—I asked for prompts for two weekend challenges in a row and did nothing with them, which I feel horrible about.  I am determined to do a Numbers challenge though—see that I don’t.  God love 1_million_words  :):)

 

Today is the start of my New Orleans/Memphis/Nashville adventure and I won't be back until next Sunday.  I hope everyone has a gregat week, behave yourselves if you can and we will talk soon :):)

Why yes, I am back from my wonderful trip to the United Kingdom--YEAH! Unfortunately, I am now covering the hated job--BOO!

First, I hope everyone is well and having a lovely Sunday.  This September 2nd will be the five year anniversary of my dad's death and I think I've finally made peace with it, and I'm also past my anger at my dad's two younger brothers.  That's progress I think.

So, I went to NYC on Black Friday to see CInderella and it was wonderful!

I am going to NYC to see a Broadway show--either "Nice Work if You Can Get It" or "Newsies" whichever one is on the half price ticket booth.

Well it's the night before Thanksgiving and I of course need to complain about my job:

Right now I am reveling in having off for five days straight--Thanksgiving Day, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday--WOO HOO!! I took off Monday from work because we are going to see the Rockettes Christmas show--I can't wait for my niece's and nephew's reaction to all of the Christmas decorations, in particular the big tree in Rockefeller center.
