Some good news

Well, I have some really excellent news--I now only have five more days of coverage for the horrible job--WOO HOO!! I still absolutely hate covering the stupid job and I'm still resentful that he planned his surgery to begin when my vacation ended, but at least it will be over sooner.
I was also lucky enough to see the National Theater Live prouction of Frankenstein tonight--I saw the version where Benedict Cumberbatch was the Creature--and I am emotionally exhausted by not only Benedict's tour de force performance but also Jonny Lee Miller's doomed Victor Frankenstein. If NTL were smart, they'd be selling both versions of the stage production on DVD and making a fortune.
My trip to the United Kingdom was truly wonderful and here are some of my favorite random moments:
1. I adore London and I swear I could spend just a week in the city itself. This time around I got to see Piccadily Circus which is twenty times more insane then NYC's Time Square.
2.. York is a lovely town and visitng The Shambles was like walking into history.
3. I liked that the visitors to Stratford upon Avon are called Shakespeare's pilgrims :):)
4. Edinburgh was as awesome a city as London and Dublin and it had it's own charm and so filled with history that it's a little intense and I loved how all of the people walking on the streets just powered up those hills--good for them.
5. I had quite a few people in my tour group asking me if I was a teacher--no, I'm just a person who loves literarure--especially Shakespeare--and who also is interested in the Royal Family, at least Henry VIII :):)
