This is a psuedo-fluffy 205 word Sherlock drabble for the Weekend Challenge at
1_million_words Enjoy!
The posted note was left in the middle of their now pristine kitchen table and John could see the words clearly despite Sherlock’s surprisingly inelegant handwriting
“Text me.”
John smiled, shaking his head at his very clueless but ultimately adorable friend. It would have made more sense for Sherlock to have just simply texted John but that probably would have made too much sense.
He retrieved his phone from the charger and sent off the text as requested to his mad genius of a partner.
Wait…”his” mad genius who was "adorable"? Where had that thought sprung from?
But before John could go into full freak out mode, his phone beeped with a return text from Sherlock.
John what took you so long? Nevermind, dinner tonight at Angelos’? SH
John shook his head again, laughing slightly. Sherlock, you don’t have to sign your texts. I know they’re from you. JHW
Is that an attempt at being funny? And you didn’t answer my question. SH
Yes, dinner tonight at Angelo’s sounds lovely. And I’m always amusing. JW, MD
Excellent, and no you really aren’t. Only sometimes. SH
Alright you git, see you tonight. JW
Oh and John? Happy Valentine’s Day. SH
Same to you Sherlock, same to you.
