kitmerlot_1213My friends, my Olympic insanity knows no bounds! How about that balance beam event final?
Of course you feel horrible for any of the athletes falling off the beam or making other missteps, but that does not stop my awe at what we got to witness last night in Rio:
the beautifully athletic silver medal beam routine from our Laurie Hernandez and the exquisitely unique and massively difficult gold medal performance from Dutch gymnast Sanne Wever.
Both girls delivered top notch gymnastics and they and their counties should be proud. And this is shallow, but I especially loved the Dutch girls’ leotards—beautifully designed,
