I just voted!
Nov. 6th, 2012 05:30 pmNow I'm in PA and there was a bit of a controversy at my voting place, but the controversey wasn't about showing ID.
(To put it in the simplest forms the PA legislature passed a law requiring people to show ID before voting--the people on one side of the fence want voters to show ID because they believe it will prevent voter fraud and people on the other side of the fence believe that this is a way to stop people who are more likely to vote for Obama from voting.)
Now the controversey I was involved in was about what number the two women were in front of me. Old Lady # 1 wrote the person in front of me as Voter# 438, while Old Lady #2 wrote her down as Voter# 439. Well, they went back and forth about this for about five minutes and I as Voter# 440 was freaking the hell out. Damn, people, let me do my civic duty and vote already! :):)
