First, I must share this humorous tidbit about the erstwhile Uncle Johnny:

He asked me to fax a list of vehicle weights to two different plants, which I did.  He than sends me this email right after I did it: 

Thank you. Hoping to advert an issue later this week.

Yeah, the word is "avert".  Advert means you want to advertise an issue--yeah, good luck with trying to sound competent, poser!
