Count down on the Crappy Job: Three Days Down, One to Go!

That's right, I've handled three days of the crappy job and I've got two more to go. I cannot wait to be back at my own desk and doing my own job. TWO MORE DAYS and then I'm free!!

1. I've been watching reruns of Laverne and Shirley and I can't get over how much I thoroughly dislike Eddie Mekka's Carmine Ragusa. He was absolutely obnoxious--were we supposed to be charmed by how stupidly loud he was? Or by his horrendous singing and dancing? I never understood the point of the character because I think we were supposed to think he was good looking and talented but the show completely missed the mark.

2. I think Shark Week is supposed to make us feel sorry for sharks because certain species are being hunted to extinction, but the only thing I can think of is that sharks terrify me beyond reason and that you'll never catch me in the deep ocean. Heck, I'll barely go into water up to my knees.

3. Project Runway is an awesome show but it always seems to me that the female designers are auffed much faster than the male designers. And it still rankles that Anya was the Season 9 winner because the woman was one note and minimally talented--none of her designs had sleeves and all of her models had to be sewn into their outfits and her runway show was a joke but she still won. Unbelievable.

4. I wonder why there are authors that have Danny being younger then Steve or sometimes older. To me, Danny and Steve are the same age, just like Alex and Scott. I think they are both evenly experienced in their fields of work and in their own personal life experiences and it's a mistake to make it that Danny's somehow naive because he hasn't travelled around the world like Steve has. Make no mistake, the years Danny's spent in the Newark PD rival Steve's in seeing the worst of humanity and what exactly criminals are capable of.

5. I still miss Bob Costas :):)
