As soon as I see that it's going to be a Doris episode, my interest starts to plummet.
The McDanno are always wonderful together, but the presence of Doris ruins everything. Are we supposed to find it amusing that she never loses her overly smug "I'm so much better at everything than you" act because it's annoying as hell.
Doris needs to start telling the truth and the first thing she needs to admit to is that she hurt her family. And are we supposed to believe that John McGarrett was so distraught over this shrew's death that he sent his kids away? I think he'd be grateful to be rid of such an unkind person. But I guess we're also supposed to believe that Doris is just so hot that men will put up with her smug attitude just to have a chance to be with her--this just proves that the men who are attracted to Doris are dimwitted fools. Sorry, Papa McG, but that means you!
And she also needs to reveal what her secret agenda is because Wo Fat damn near killed her son because of her stupid Shelbourne ass and she needs to own that she is the cause of the majority of the misery in Steve's life.
Doris will always be a horrible character and unworthy of Steve's time and attention until she admits her own guilt--she needs to be forced to face all of the wrongs she's done in her life and actually ask for forgiveness of the kids she's hurt.
But with this chick, it'll never happen.
