And holy crap, it was awesome!
I liked that it tied together the missing pieces from the first movie and gave the story a brilliant resolution while also setting up for the next chapter.
And yet again, Patrick Wilson proves what a formidable actor he is. I remember seeing him as Curly in Oklahoma and while the man can sing, he is equally good at playing menacing and damn scary.
I was very impressed by most of the cast: the young actors playing Dalton and Foster were very believable, and I especially enjoyed both of the older actresses, Barbara Hershey as Lorraine and Lin Shaye as Elise. They were two very strong women who fought tooth and nail to save Josh and his family from the evil creatures plaguing them.
A definite must see.
