and getting low on heating oil.  We are down to about a quarter of a tank and while we won't use that all in one day, we definitely have to call the oil company on Monday for a fill-up.  And on Monday we are supposed to have temps in the 30's but Tuesday and Wednesday are supposed to be back in the teens and single digits.  Now is not the time to get low on heating fuel.

I hope everyone who is suffering through this horrible cold weather is doing alright.

Hi hope you are surviving. Down here we are currently on the our fourth day of a heat wave, with temps in the mid to high 30s and low 40s Celsius. Not sure what that iS in Farenheight but it is hot!!!! So if you could send us some cool we can send you some hot? ;)

Even New Orleans is getting the frosty treatment- down in the 20's today. Although people here have been freaking out about it more than our Northern brethren, I bet, because we're just not used to it. I went to Home Depot to buy some firewood, and the place had been cleaned out of everything that could provide heat and/or power! You'd think it was the end of days around here. lol
The good news is that I saw on the weather channel's webpage that we're only supposed to get one more blast of this super-cold weather- one more coming in the first two weeks of February, and then we'll start warming up again. Yay!

I think it's been supercold all over the US--we will start to warm up to the 30's and 40's this Thursday and into the weekend, so we just have to hack it for the next two days.
