WOO HOO!!

I am enjoying the crap out of this show now, and I think a lot of that has to do with the writer's dropping the ultra-annoying "Oh Olivia, you're so smart, so beautiful, such a great investigator" crap.

We watched her literally get clues handed to her by her dead boyfriend or Walter Bishop, and she still get unearned praises for solving the case.  "You're just that damn good!"

Now, Olivia actually investigates and works on her leads, and it is wonderful to watch.  And I'm truly enjoying how badass her character is now.

Lastly, I think Anna Torv has improved as an actress because her line delivery has inflection and she's become more expressive.

All in all, Olivia is shaping up to be pretty damn cool!

I love Fringe. Walter totally cracks me up.

Walter is one of the most entertaining characters on TV today--he makes the show :)

I couldn't agree more. Anna Torv/Olivia irritated the hell out of me to begin with. Now that she's actually having to think for herself, and now that they're given her some... emotional depth, I guess, it's a much more enjoyable show.

Yes, for me, AT's Olivia is fast becoming an actual "real" person--we can relate to her now because she isn't nearly as stoic and cold.
