Happy Labor Day! Happy Monday!

kitmerlot_1213I hope all of my fellow Americans are enjoying their Labor Day—I know I’m enjoying vegging out and watching my TV shows. I’m also thrilled that Mystery Science Theater 3000 is now being shown on the Comet channel on Sundays night—WOO HOO!!
This past Friday, Sept. 2nd was the seventh anniversary of my dad’s death and we commemorated the day the best way we knew how—my mom had a mass said in my dad’s name and we went out to dinner in his honor.
I also saw the musical Cake Off at Bucks County Playhouse and it was wonderfully funny and the best part was Justin Guarini playing three different characters—two of them female—with true musical theater aplomb.
All in all, a pretty positive Labor Day Holiday Weekend :)
