I think this might have been one of the most grotesquely, stomach turning episodes to date--I loved it! The special effects involving the parasitic worms crawling out of the people's mouths, tentacles a'wiggling was fabulous.
But then I got emotional when Walter panicked and he couldn't remember Peter's cell number--John Noble sold the hell out of that scene. And how kind that Walter was helped by that kind lady.
All in all, an awesome episode.

Date: 2009-12-04 04:25 am (UTC)The worm crawling out of the guys mouth and when it was sucking on Walter's arm was nasty! I did get a kick out of Broyles' face when he walked in on Astrid holding the worm.
John Noble is simply incredible! His acting was amazing when he couldn't remember Peter's number and was outstanding when he saw Astrid after she was hurt. The whole scene between Astrid and him was brilliant. You could really see how much Walter cares for her and what she means to him.
I also loved that Astrid got some more screen time and was out of the lab. I hope that's something that continues.
Just as you put it, awesome episode!
