Thanksgiving Eve

Well it's the night before Thanksgiving and I of course need to complain about my job:


I can not comprehend what an absolute nasty piece of work my boss John is. Here's a couple fo examples:  he gets this mean looking smile on his face whenever he purposefully interrupts my workday to ask inane questions., and the other day, he made a disgusting joke about one of the drivers sending him pictures of little boys.  Seriously, who jokes about child porn?



Right now I am reveling in having off for five days straight--Thanksgiving Day, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday--WOO HOO!! I took off Monday from work because we are going to see the Rockettes Christmas show--I can't wait for my niece's and nephew's reaction to all of the Christmas decorations, in particular the big tree in Rockefeller center.

Wow... I'd like to see what would happen if your boss met one of my managers- she's so horribly inappropriate. One day, she got her phone out in the staff room and started showing people pictures of her boyfriend's junk, announcing "look how sexy he is- look at the size of his willy!"
And then later "It's weird, I don't usually fancy blacks, but he's well nice!"

Yep.

And I found out later that he isn't actually her boyfriend, just some guy she was casually sleeping with.

Does you're company have a harassment policy? You should be able to report him to HR for creating a hostile working Environment or a form of harassment with the tasteless joke about child porn.

Just because he's your boss doesn't mean he can get away with this kind of stuff. Best of luck and enjoy you're time off!

When I am back to work on Tuesday, I am planning on going to our direct boss to complain about his behavior--and your right, he is creating a great deal of hostility and something has to be done.

Boo-hiss to your pervo boss. Who indeed jokes about child porn? *shudders* Glad you'll at least get a vacation from him!

And YAY for going to see the Rockettes!! I'm so jealous! Watching the Rockettes perform is my favorite part of the Macy's parade (in fact, it's often the only part I watch, because I can only take banal parade banter for so long). Hope you have a wonderful time!!
