Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman just owned their roles--it was a thing of brilliance to watch.
Just finished watching the new version of Sherlock Holmes on PBS and it was freakin' brilliant! And as soon as he appeared on screen, knowing John Watson's name and deducing his military service as well as Sherlock himself, I called that it was Mycroft Holmes. I know it's not that impressive of a feat, just that I think the show was trying to trick us into believing it was Professor Moriarty.
I liked the modern backstory they gave to Watson and Homes, but I wonder if they couldn't have made Lestrade into a female character? Overall, I think it was an awesome show and I can't wait for nest weeks episode :)
