It's a New year and I finally saw The Hobbit

and I enjoyed the crap out of it :)

The dwarves were just as cool and entertaining as the Fellowship of the Ring in the original trilogy.

And I loved seeing Christopher Lee in all of his evil glory but I thought he and Peter Jackson were in some sort of feud.

I saw it today - finally - too! Thoroughly enjoyed it and now I can't wait to see the next part... though I guess we have a year to wait *sigh* Might have to revisit LOTR, I guess!

I do think it's cool that Peter Jackson filmed all three installments of The Hobbit in one go--just like his original trilogy, but now that just means that S3 of Sherlock has been pushed back and we still have to wait for the 2nd film--DAMN! :)

I saw it opening weekend, I don't know why I never posted about it. I loved it as well, I actually liked out better than Fellowship.

I saw it New Year's Day in 3D (which was... eh, cool at parts, a waste at others). I really enjoyed it and its lighter sort of energy. Gollum made me cry twice! I can't wait till all three are finished as I want to have a Hobbit LOTR all-day super marathon!

I was just so happy it was done soon enough for the LOTR actors to be in it, too.

I could only watch the original movies and The Hobbit one time in the movie theater--sitting for nearly three hours is damn hard :)

Oh, I'd never do it in the theater, more an at home thing. Maybe make food, have some friends. Could be fun to watch them all in a row.
